Abstract: The possibility that Ephesus was the center of the primitive Johannine Christianity is not without consequences for the further development of research contextualized in biblical and exegetical field. We further question about the utility of Johannine School as a center for the dissemination and preservation of Ephesian tradition of the Johannine Movement, and therefore a key formulation of literary Johannine Body. About Pauline presence in Ephesus there are no longer any traces. John completely dislodged Paul from Ephesian region: The Johannine presence at Ephesus, after these testimonies, does not seem to be an absurd assumption at all. Another important element is the proven use of Johannine Christology of the Incarnation as a strong weapon in the fight against heresies over the first three Christian centuries. Another important aspect of this problem was the indirect demonstration of the differing interpretations of ancient Christian texts, in a period earlier than canon. One fact that is a significant one, not only for the configuration of ‘emerging’ religion itself, but also for understanding its relationship with the broader social tissue, where there are other forms of religious experience
