Os miste?rios o?rficos e eleusinos: seus significados e representac?o?es no mundo grego

Resumo: Ao lado do culto oficial aos deuses poli?ades (numes tutelares de cada po?lis) e das divindades responsa?veis pela fertilidade agra?ria, os gregos depositavam nos cultos de iniciac?a?o – os Miste?rios (ta_ musth/ria) – a verdadeira esperanc?a de salvac?a?o, de uma vida bem-aventurada no Ale?m, coisa que os cultos oficiais na?o lhes asseguravam. Dentre os diversos cultos inicia?ticos que existiram no mundo grego, os Miste?rios O?rficos e os de Ele?usis foram os mais importantes para a fundamentac?a?o teolo?gica do Cristianismo, juntamente com a filosofia, tarefa esta encetada pela Patri?stica grega pre?-niceana.

Abstract: Next to the official cult of the polyads gods (tutelary divinities of each polis) and the deities responsible for land fertility, the Greeks deposited in the initiation cults – the Mysteries (ta_ musth/ria) – the true hope of salvation, of a blessed after life, which the official cults did not ensure them. Among the various initiatory cults that existed in the Greek world, the Orphic and Eleusis Mysteries were the most important for the theological foundation of Christianity, along with philosophy, a task initiated by pre-nicean Greek Patristic.
