Resumo: A proposta do presente artigo e? mostrar a Igreja como projeto de Deus na Histo?ria da Salvac?a?o. A plenitude da divina Revelac?a?o feita a Israel, como povo eleito por Deus, alcanc?a seu cume no miste?rio da Encarnac?a?o, Paixa?o, Morte e Ressurreic?a?o do Verbo, quando o ser humano e? introduzido na eviternidade, mediante a comunha?o dos santos entre os peregrinos na terra e os habitantes das manso?es celestiais. Neste sentido, o templo de Jerusale?m ja? e? proposto como imagem da Igreja futura enquanto construc?a?o arquiteto?nica, mas sobretudo, pela reunia?o da assembleia, com o objetivo de prestar culto ao Deus Criador. Seguindo o percurso salvi?fico da humanidade, o texto aborda a intervenc?a?o de Deus na histo?ria atrave?s dos Patriarcas, dos Profetas, do Messias, dos Apo?stolos, dos Santos Padres, do Clero, do Povo de Deus e, finalmente, a continuidade do Memorial institui?do por Cristo como recapitulac?a?o de toda obra salvi?fica, realc?ando o fio condutor entre judai?smo e cristianismo.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to show the Church as God’s project in the History of salvation. The fullness of divine Revelation made to Israel, as the chosen people by God, reaches its summit in the mystery of the Incarnation, Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Word, when the human being is introduced in the eviternity, through the communion of saints between pilgrims on the earth and the inhabitants of the heavenly mansions. In this sense, the Temple of Jerusalem is already proposed as image of the future Church as architectural construction, but above all, by the meeting of the Assembly, in order to worship God, the Creator. Following the salvation path of mankind, the text deals with the intervention of God in history through the Patriarchs, the Prophets, the Messiah, the Apostles, the Holy Fathers, the Clergy, the People of God and, finally, the continued Memorial instituted by Christ as a review of the whole salvation work, highlighting the common thread between Judaism and Christianity.
